Morning Star was my 6th project and first project using my groups own built engine Side Track Engine. I took the role of implementing the character controller and the abilities as well as implementing our engine UI rendering system and shaders. This project consisted of 15 people and lasted for 15 weeks.
UI Rendering
I implemented the UI rendering system and shader drawing. This is where i learned a lot about how the whole rendering pipeline works and ways to make it easy and fast to use.
Player Abilities
I helped implementing the player basic and strong attack as well as all the 3 abilities the player uses during the game. Auto attack on 1st slide, strong attack on 2nd, Pistol shot on 3rd, charge on 4th and last Heal AoE on 5th
